Rest of Day 3

Eventually we went into our rooms, unpacked our bags (completely; I've never done that on vacation before, but it was so nice to live out of a closet rather than a suitcase!) and got ready for dinner!
Here's us having a pre dinner drink from the rebels who snuck alcohol onto the ship...
not going to mention any names (Carl and Melissa) Sisters pic after dinner. The first night for dinner I had some glorified chicken strips as an appetizer (that had glorified taste as well!) jumbo shrimp for dinner, and warm chocolate melting cake for dessert (which deserves a whole post just to itself!). After dinner, we went to the show, which was mediocre, there was some dancing and singing (which I was too much of a critic to enjoy, how hard is it to dance in sync, seriously???) but mainly it was just an introduction to what the rest of the shows were going to be.
Loralei and I waiting for the show to start while the boys are out getting free alcohol samples (the goal was to get as much free stuff as possible I guess) A quick pic with the bride and groom. During the show, Loralei started to get sea sick, so as soon as it was done, her and I went up on the deck and sat in some lounge chairs to get some fresh air
Here's what the boys were doing while I was aiding the sick... :) Rich apparently wasn't impressed with the beverage choice.
And so goes the first day on the ship! Oh, I'll mention, we went to bed that night, but I did NOT get much sleep. The boat rocking FREAKED me out! I swear everytime I felt it move, I thought we were going to capsize. The next day, Rich pointed out to me that the rocking was NOT side to side, but from the front of the boat raising and dropping as we plowed through the waves... I slept like a baby the rest of the nights! :-)

That is my favorite feeling - it's like being rocked to sleep!! I'm always disappointed when we're on a cruise that is so smooth you never feel the ship move!!

Oh, you would have enjoyed this one then! You could DEFINITELY feel the ship moving! You would watch everyone walking in front of you sway to the right, and then to the left.
