Productivity!

Here's a shout out to productivity! I love it! Rich and I have been so productive this last week! He "chose" to spend his birthday pressure washing... anything and everything he could think of at the house. Our deck looks new again and even our propane tank is nice and clean! Now maybe I should paint it?!?! Who ever decided that cream and green looked good together anyway??? Friday was Rich's last day at the Key Bank job... so he's off for a while, sort of a bummer, but also sort of great! Saturday we headed to good ol' B-ham, went to Joe's (don't waste your time yet... no real sales), Home Depot (got all sorts of fun stuff, including paint for my kitchen/living room!) and spent a good hour trying to find a place that had concrete stamps... finally found the place, and it was closed :-(. So, list of accomplishments for this weekend... Rich did something to the fairlane... who knows what?? and I got the exterior doors painted! I guess that's all... it seemed like more. Although, I did choose the paint colors for the kitchen/living room, which was stressing me out, so that is a big task done! Besides... this week we've been even more productive. Since Rich has had time off, he's been spending his days in Sumas, finishing the tile and trim work at our rental there. Monday evening I finished the painting at our Lynden rental (minus the bathroom painting because it's not sheet rocked yet) so our rentals are looking quite spiffy! Did I mention I also found renters for the Sumas house?? Praise the Lord! Next thing on our (Rich's) list... concrete! We're going to pour a slab at our front door, and also get the flag pole up! (it's only been laying in our driveway for over a year!) So again I say, shout out to productivity!
