Vacation - Day 5

Things really started to look up on day 5 of the vacation! It was a little warmer when I went outside to lay out, and after an hour or so, our ship had made it to the sunshine! It was still a bit windy, but the wind combined with the hot sun was a PERFECT combination!! It was a wonderful day of laying out! So good I don't have any pictures to show you :-).
Our first stop on the cruise was San Juan, Puerto Rico and we arrived to port around 5pm on day 5.
A good sisters pic before we got off the ship
We didn't have anything planned, so we walked a few blocks to check out the fortress. I would tell you all about it... but I was more into the views... so I didn't pay much attention to the history side of it! I think the military used to use it to protect the island??? If you're interested, ask Rich, he likes history. Anyway, we used it as a great photo opportunity! Here are some of my favorites!
This is almost the whole group Carl, Rich and Rob behind barsAfter the fortress we decided to check out the town a bit, which unfortunately was mostly closed down because of the time of day we were there. A few shops were open, but nothing to get excited about. For dinner we went to Senor Frogs... which was... interesting... wild... I'm not sure the best word for that place. Have any of you been there?? That was the most wild restaurant I have EVER been to! Granted, it's half club half restaurant, and it was college spring break, but seriously!?!? There was a DJ guy who had some college kids playing a little scavenger hunt game... like... (WARNING: For mature adults :-) find the largest bra here, sexiest panties, and I'm sure you're not surprised girls were tearing them off for the chance that their's would be the sexiest! So like I said... interesting... wild...

We got back on the ship a little before midnight and went straight to bed so I could make it up for my 5:45am hair appt with Melissa! (Which means wedding pictures are bound to show up on my next post!)
