The Blessings... Oh, the Blessings!

Rich and I have felt so BLESSED over the last couple weeks, I just had to shout to the heavens about it! Or blog, same thing, right??? :-) We've made some changes in our "life plan", yes, we totally have one! So far though, everything we plan is always 3-5 years away, and has been since we got married 3-1/2 years ago! That's ok though, because we would rather them happen in God's time than our time. Since we've made these adjustments to our plan, it's like God is just raining down the blessings on us... hmm... maybe bad word usage... how about "shining down the blessings... as in with the sun! Yeah, that sounds better, much more cheery and vitamin D filled! Anyway, everything just seems to be falling into place so perfectly, and it's just such confirmation that this new "path" we're on, is so much closer to God's path! He has given us light at the end of the tunnel and we are joyfully skipping in that direction!
In other great news and blessings... We sold Rich's ranger this weekend! It's so funny when he sells a vehicle because he's always SO sad about it! As if now he's sad that he's driving the jeep instead of the ranger!?!? Crazy boy he is! Rich had been talking to "Jim" on the phone about it and setting up a time for a test drive... only to find out when he met him that it was a family friend, Jim DenHartog. I know lots of you readers know Jim, so when you see him driving around in the "Desert Camo Ranger" make sure you tell him how cool his new truck is! If you're thinking, "desert camo??", Rich thought desert camo sounded way more manly and cool than tan. Which is true, right?
All in all, we had a great and productive weekend! My one flower bed is weeded, we got the trellis up by the mailbox (I'll take pictures when my clematis is blooming), the lawn is mowed, Rich puts some new wheels and tires on the "camper special" truck, the one previously stuck out in the mudless field because of the extremely bare tires, AND THE FAIRLANE IS RUNNING! Rich was able to DRIVE it over to his parents house on Saturday! He gets so excited when that thing is running! Hope your weekend was as great as ours was! I'm off to paint the final bedroom in our Lynden rental tonight, and then I will be DONE painting... for a little while anyway :-).
