Christmas Part 1

We celebrated Christmas with my family early this year (I won't tell you how early at the risk of you realizing how behind I am on blogging about it!) My sister and her husband were gracious enough to let all of us crazies into their home and even let us stay for a sleepover! I don't have too much to say about the party, it was pretty typical, so I'll just share some pics instead...

Check out this amazing pile of matching gifts? I did buy a few rolls of wrapping paper that were meant to go together, but the rest and the bags I bought seperately! I didn't notice how well it all matched until I put them all here in this pile! Yay me! :) Also, before the harassment begins about the lack of tree... I just didn't have the energy/time/spirit for one this year. I can honestly say I hope that 2009 is the ONLY year I EVER go without a tree though!!!
We were all excited that Josh and Dena got to be here to spend Christmas with us (partly because we like them and partly because Christmas is WAY more fun with kids to open gifts!) Who wouldn't want to spend their Christmas with this little girl???Matt was the designated "Santa"......and this little elf helped him hand out the gifts (he'd even help you open it if you let him!) I just couldn't resist taking this picture of Rich. When I went over to listen to the story I realized he had mastered the "multiple page flipping" in order to shorten the length of this very long book!
