Snowy Weekend

I feel like I have so much to blog about, but I might get by with just one post for the last 5 days. I went to work Wednesday because there were a few things I HAD to do, plus I was able to go to the grocery store for grandma and get her a few things to hold her over for a week of being snowed in. I ended up heading home around 1:00 because it was becoming obvious, the longer I stayed, the worse the roads were going to get, and when I did finally head home, I was glad I drove the sport trac for the four wheel drive! Just as I promised you, when I got home I took pictures of the beautiful snow around our house.

Cash absolutely LOVES the snow. He frolicks through it and then trys to attack it with his front paws and his face. These pictures are from Wednesday afternoon, so you can bet we have WAY more snow now than we did in these pictures!

Thursday I stayed home from work which gave me some time to catch up on the cleaning projects that I had been putting off for way too long! I also finished season 1 of 90210 (it's my boring day guilty pleasure!) I had bought season one and two when I was down and out this summer, but then ended up sleeping so much I didn't get to watch them! Thursday evening we had some friends over to play in the snow. Rich took the jeep (which he is LOVING! I think God may have given us all this snow just so he could have fun with it) out in the field and pulled tubes and sleds around. Our friend Matt brought his snowboard and a ski rope, which turned out to be quite a hit... being pulled around the field on a snowboard. So would that be considered snowboarding or wakeboarding do you think? Here are some pictures from all our fun!

I stayed home from work Friday as well, and then got a call from Kim letting me know that her husband was coming to pick me up and bring me to their house so we could watch our favorite show, One Tree Hill. We're only on season 2, but boy are we addicted! We tell our husbands that we like to get involved in the drama on the show so that we have no need for our own drama! Elizabeth came over when she was done with work and I think we were able to get in 6 or so episodes! It was a great day!

I've got to get a couple more things done at the office before Rich gets here to pick me up, so I'll have to post about the rest of our weekend later!
