Part of a new club...

Rich and I went to see our dear friends Ryan and Heather Heutink last night and their new bundle of joy, Bailey May! I was so excited to get a picture of Rich holding her (holding a baby is something I had never seen him do until last night! ) but I forgot my camera!! There is a picture out there because Ryan took one, I'll have to convince him to email it over to me so I can show all of you how much of a pro Rich was (after just a little coaching). I will also post her picture when the hospital gets it up on their website, she is a BEAUTIFUL baby! That's not the point of my post today though! As we were driving over to their house, we crossed paths with another jeep (Rich is still on a high from getting the jeep so we take it everywhere!) Rich was noticing how "cool" the jeep was, and then said, "that guy just waved to us... everyone driving a jeep waves to me now." It was at that moment that I remembered!! A few years ago, my friend Lori bought a new jeep, and as we were reading through the manuel, we came across "the jeep wave". Yes, there is a special jeep wave that you only share with other people who have jeeps! How cool are we to be able to participate in this wave?!?! I instructed Rich on the exact hand movement of the wave (I remember there being a sequence of pictures showing the wave procedure, and I didn't want us to be the losers that did the wave wrong!) Of course we didn't see anymore jeeps last night, but I feel confident that Rich is prepared and ready for the next one he crosses paths with! So, there you have it, maybe one of you can get a jeep and join in the fun of the wave with us!
