Post Due day 3

Yep, still here :). And today I crocheted these slippers!
If you're wondering about this new obsession, a girlfriend introduced me to the site ravelry.com which has tons of free knitting and crocheting patters. With the patterns, combined with you tube how to videos, I think I'm becoming quite the crocheter! (I've also made 3 more of those little flowers so I can match baby girls' outfits to her hats :). I'm concerned about what tomorrow may bring if Rich has to work again, I've made something for baby, and for myself... now what to make for him??? Maybe a masculine sweater?? I'm sure he'd love it! As you can see, I'm bored, but making good use of my time picking up a new fun hobby! I'll add a fairly inexpensive hobby! The ball of yarn that I made these slippers out of cost me $3.99 (and no, didn't use a coupon, darnit!) and the slippers used up less than half of it! I always felt like buying yarn was expensive, but not so bad when you make cute little things!

In other related news, if you've been praying for me, thank you so much! Could you add to your prayers that I might kick this cold before it really starts?? I woke up this morning with a sore throat and stuffy nose. The thought of going through labor alone is tiring, but with a cold seems beyond my abilities! I trust though that God is aware that I'm going to be having a baby any day, so I'm choosing to not let it stress me out. And again, thanks so much for your prayers!

Hey Ang, praying for you, will continue, the slippers are awesome, do you have a nettie pot? They sell them at Cost Cutter, look like an aladin's lamp. You put a little packet of salt in there, with warm water and it's a nasal rinse without gagging. It works WONDERS on the onset of a cold and for any allergy. I swear by them, if you don't have one, get one. Or I would totally get one for you and deliver it if you're to the house-bound stage. :)

I love all your new crochet projects! I was doing the same thing when pregnant. Praying for you and that the cold will go away before baby comes!
