We had our first Bible study session last night and it went great! What a relevant message... in Daniel 1, Daniel is given all the "choice" food and wine, and yet chooses to not be sucked in by it all, but bring glory to God instead by only eating food sown from seed. As I walk forward, I hope to SEE things for what they really are. In hopes to differentiate something great that God has provided for me from something that Satan has wrapped up in a shiny package to look great from the outside.
The other great thing I took from Bible study is a new sense of contentment. There are 15 girls in the group (14 there last night) and we all fit in my living room! I could've sworn that I 'needed' a bigger house... but nope, God used last night to show me that is Not the case! It apparently is the perfect size to bring Him glory.
Thanks to those of you who have been praying for our group! If you will continue to keep the group in your prayers... I'd ask that God would build friendships among the girls who don't know eachother well and mostly that God would be glorified by everything that we do when we're together!
