Sidestep

Such a sad day... or maybe a happy one now that I think about it?!?! For the last few months, ever since I "upgraded" to firefox (is it really an upgrade when it causes this much unhappiness?) I haven't been able to access my VERY favorite website, Sidestep.com. Are you a sidestepper?? Honestly, ever since I found this website my days have been happier. Except for last year when we were buying our flights to Miami, and I missed their all time low, bought them at about $100 over their low, and then watched them fall again. That sucked! Anyway, if you're completely lost, sidestep is like an expedia or travelocity, except it checks the best rates from each of those travel sites and puts them all on to one. On top of that, you can sign up for a daily or weekly email "tracking" what the prices are doing. It's like gambling I guess, but oh so fun! So, as I was saying earlier, I haven't been able to access their site for the last few months (which has seriously made our Costa Rica trip planning more stressful from having to visit every website to find the best prices!) I had assumed the website was no longer a website, BUT today I received an advertisement from them about all their super cheap fares. !?!? You can imagine my excitement, right?? I think, hmm... maybe sidestep has just been on vacation, and it's back now, so I click on the link... only to find the same darn error message saying the connection could not be made. At this point, I go to another computer in the office, type in www.sidestep.com and wahla! My site is there!! I'm still upset that my compurter, no FIREFOX, won't let me access it, but at least I know it's still there, I find comfort in that. I can hardly wait for my first tracking email next week on Costa Rica flights!
