What I've been up to...

Projects, projects, projects, that's what!

So far I am done with the crib bumper and just finished the crib comforter. As far as that stuff goes, I just have the dust ruffle and curtains left, which neither seem too intimidating. (Although I thought the comforter would be easy easy, and boy is binding around the edge not as easy as it looks!!! The great thing about doing all this sewing is how much I'm learning and improving my sewing abilities. I'm enjoying it so much!! Here is a picture of the crib with the bumper and comforter... Another project I started this week is reupholstering my nursing chair. Thank you again Stacy for giving it to me!!! It is just the perfect size for me and is so comfy, with updated upholstery, it will be the perfect chair for the nursery!!! Here are all my pieces laid out and labled so hopefully I'll remember how to put it back together!!Wish me luck!! This is an adventure I've never tried before!
