Sorry about the lag in posts... My computer was at the 'doctor's' and Rich and I took a prebabymoon trip to Arizona! I just got my computer back, so haven't gotten our pictures on it yet, but will post them soon! We mostly did a lot of laying around and sitting in the hot tub (which felt sooo good!!!) We missed the snow :( but also missed the freezing cold and wind :) I also hit 30 weeks while we were gone (and actually am 31 now!) so time is running out for Rich and I to enjoy our non parenthood days and also for me to get my projects done!
Speaking of... taking a 5 day vacation was NOT calculated into my 'baby to do' list so I am officially behind!!! I hate being behind!! I'm more of a 'week or two ahead' kind of girl. With that being said, I'm making great strides in my chair reupholstering project! I completed the back cushion, and even feel confident that it looks alright! I'm now working on the cover for the butt cushion, and although it looked easy, it has been testing my patience! It doesn't help that as I work on it, in the back of my head I'm thinking, 'hurry up, you're behind on your projects!' I am confident though that I will be able to finish the chair, it will look descent (or at least be comfy) and I think I can do it by the end of this week! It will be so nice to complete that project because then I will have all of my nursery furniture in the room and in place, and will for the most part be able to clean up all of my sewing 'mess' that has at this point, taken over the nursery!
Sorry for a lame post today... hope to offer something more exciting soon! (Like maybe a picture of a completed nursing chair!)
