It's week 2 of blogging, and I'm already thinking.. "hmm... what should I post today?" I think Dena warned me of this in an indirect way!?!? The good news is, on days like this, I have a list of websites in my "favorites" that I'm looking forward to sharing with all of you. Website of the... will be my random postings of websites that I've found that I love. Why the ... you ask? Because I have no idea how often I'll be introducing you to new websites. Hopefully less then once a week, but more than once a year! So, today's website is.... (notice the drumroll sound playing in your head)

I think I was introduced to Kiva through Oprah (I'm an addict in recovery from her show. I don't watch it every day like I used to, but still get sucked in every now and then.) Anyway, you can read more about Kiva and what they do on the website, but I'll tell you why I think it's great. First of all, you're not donating to some organization where you don't know where your money is really going, and you just hope it'll be used for good. With Kiva, you "lend" as much as you'd like, to the businessperson of your picking, and you get the money back to relend to the next person of your picking! It's so great, I've been repaid in full for my first loan and am now looking for the next person I'd like to help (with the same money I started with!) Let me know if you sign up, I think we can become "friends" on the website so we can see who each of us is lending to.
