Isn't he just the most adorable thing an aunt could ever ask for?? I got the phone call on Friday night around midnight that Matt and Mandi were headed in so quick dressed, grabbed my "hospital bag" and headed in! I got a text on the way that said, "hurry, she's a 10!" Can you believe that?? My sister is so tough! She stayed home because she was trying not to be too wimpy and go in too early. I got there in time for about 2 hours of pushing (1 of which was just to get him in the right position, stubborn little boy!) and got to be in the room for his 2:22 am arrival! If you'll believe it... I felt quite alright for the whole delivery, except for the part where Mandi was throwing up, I had to leave for that because my gag reflexes were in full force! Easton came into this world a whopping 9 lbs 1 oz and 22 inches long! He's got the cutest chubby cheeks and sleeps just like his mama, mouth wide open! He's got 2 wonderful parents who are already completely in love with him and an Auntie Lala who just can't hardly wait until tomorrow to see him again! Oh, and 200 some pictures of his birth... Mandi said she wanted lots of pictures... I was just doing what I was told!!!

I am so thrilled for you and Mandi and Matt. What a darling little baby. I am also very jealous you were there for the birth. Ever since Macy was born I just think birth is magical and miraculous at the same time. Nothing like it!!!! I have only been there for my own and thought there was nothing better... I can't imagine seeing one without the pain!!! I told Gabe I'd pay now to be there. :) Maybe I'm in the wrong business! So, so happy for you, and LOVE your name! Aunt Lala. So cute.
Isn't that something to experience - how could a soul NOT believe in God after that! It amazes me sometimes! I'd be scared about the 9+ lbs if I were you :-)!!
